Reviews and reputation
More reviews, every one answered, all within Google's rules
Reviews decide two things: whether Google shows you near the top of the map, and whether the customer who finds you calls you or the next business. We make it easy to ask every customer for a review, answer every review within 24 hours and never cut corners that put your profile at risk.

What's included
Part of every GrowLevel plan, done for you.
Ask every customer
Review requests by email with one follow-up, plus a direct link and a QR code for the truck, the counter or the invoice.
No review gating
Everyone gets the same request. We never filter out customers by how happy they seem, which Google prohibits.
Replies within 24 hours
Every review, good or bad, gets a reply within 24 hours, written for the next customer who reads it.
Review pace you can see
A goal based on the businesses ahead of you on the map, and a weekly view of how fast new reviews arrive.
How many reviews you need
There's no magic number. What matters is how you compare with the three businesses Google shows first near you, and how steadily new reviews arrive. A plumber in a small town might need a few dozen; a dentist in a big city might be up against several hundred.
Your free audit shows the review counts and ratings of the businesses ahead of you, so your goal is based on your real competition. More in how to get more Google reviews.
The rules we follow
- No incentives for reviews, and no paying for them.
- No asking only happy customers (review gating).
- No reviews written by you, your staff or anyone who wasn't a customer.
- Replies never share private details about a customer.
Google removes reviews and can restrict profiles that break its policies on fake engagement, and in the US the FTC's rule on fake reviews applies too. Steady, honest reviews are slower to build and impossible to take away.
Questions owners ask
Can you remove bad reviews?
We can flag reviews that break Google's policies, like spam or reviews from people who were never customers, but Google decides whether to remove them. For honest negative reviews, a calm, helpful reply does more for the next customer than removal would.
Do you text my customers?
Review requests go by email with one follow-up, and you get a link and QR code you can share any way you like, including by text from your own phone.
Can I offer a discount for a review?
No. Google doesn't allow incentives for reviews, and offering them can get reviews removed. Asking every customer, at the right moment, works better.

- GuideHow to get more Google reviews (and stay within Google's rules)Ask every customer, soon after the job, with a direct link to your Google review form, and make it a routine rather than a one-time push. Don't offer anything in return and don't ask only the happy ones: Google bans both, and the FTC can seek penalties for fake reviews and for rewards tied to positive ones. How many reviews you need depends on the top 3 businesses near you, not on a fixed number.
- GuideHow to rank in the Google Maps 3-pack (2026)Google says local results are based mainly on three things: relevance, distance and prominence, and that there's no way to pay for a better local ranking. You can't move closer to every customer, so you rank higher on Google Maps by winning on what you control: the most specific primary category, a verified and complete profile, a steady flow of real reviews, accurate hours and a website with a page for each service. Then you track your rank on a grid, because it changes from one neighborhood to the next.
- GuideGoogle Business Profile optimization checklist (2026)An optimized Google Business Profile is verified, uses your real business name and the most specific primary category, lists every service and area you actually serve, shows accurate hours, and has real photos and a steady flow of answered reviews. Google says complete, accurate information helps your profile show for relevant local searches, and that more reviews and positive ratings can help your local ranking. Work through the checklist below field by field, then check it again every month.
